WEEK 3: LMS and CMS ?

Assalamualaikum and hi to all of you  ;)


Honestly, before I starting to search and explore about LMS and CMS, I kept thinking what's the kind of things they are. I'm curious to know what they are actually.Fortunately,regarding to this topic, Learning Management System (LMS) and Course Management System (CMS), I've learned something new that I don't know before. LMS is is a software application or Web-based technology used to plan, implement, and assess a specific learning process while CMS is a collection of software tools providing an online environment for course interactions. Both of them are used in learning and teaching process. Surprisingly, without I realised, all this while I've been using the concept of LMS and CMS through the iFolio system. I'm glad that I've been given the task about this topic so that I can learn something new which is related so many with our daily life as a student. :)
